Hi I'm Rich O'Brien, a 20-year veteran of the marketing and creative industries based in Chester, Cheshire.

Devilish Creative is a platform to showcase my creative work, discuss the industry and to connect with business' who want to create incredible content.

I gained my start as a graphic designer while touring the country in my punk & roll band, Black Years, creating visuals, merch, album covers and websites for acts across the UK and Europe, all while sat in the back of a van between shows.

Through my early creative work, I developed a genuine passion for marketing, social media and content strategy eventually heading up several companies marketing departments in management and creative director roles for national and international brands, from hospitality, leisure and sports to property, finance, retail, video games, events and publishing.

Creatively, I now primarily specialize in branding, graphic design and photography & I've been fortunate enough to have won numerous industry awards for both marketing and creative and over the past 20 years, I've seen my work published in several countries, in multiple languages and I've helped so many national and even international business' to level up their content game.

I'm also incredibly proud to have coached & mentored several incredibly talented marketers, delivered lectures at universities and appeared on numerous podcasts and business events as a guest speaker.

Not bad for a dude who got his start out of the back of a van!
